獸首系列要說的是一個虛構的英國上流家族，每瓶香水都代表了一個人物，亦有其獨特的個性與故事。香水的名字會開門見山地為這些人物冠上他們的代表詞彙，而每瓶香水盒的背後都會附註一段文字，以更加具體描繪他們的性格。
Cousin Matthew是在2019年春季時與雙胞胎Flora一起上市的，香水盒背後寫著：
The trouble with Matthew seems to be just one of locations and time ; wrong place, wrong time. He is it’s true, never far away when things go wrong. He gallantly takes blame without contestation and is mildly surprised to cause such a nuisance for the actions of his twin sister. And so he contemplates the sky, a dandelion, or a muddy gate for hours to forget the latest bother with nanny. He really can’t remember putting dead frogs in her bed, but if Flora says he did, why argue…?
香調表如下
前 味：柑橘
中 味：苦橙葉
後 味：廣藿香、麝香
從香調表應該不難想像他是一款清爽的柑橘調香水，聞起來就像坊間常見的綠色入浴劑高配版，或是蒸氣乳霜。他香味細膩層次豐富，是沒有玩香水的人也會覺得自然、好親近的味道。
其實我覺得他的香味表現並沒有非常特別，是很容易在其他品牌香水找到替代品的那種香味，不像貓頭鷹或狐狸等獸首那麼地難以取代，但是這並不影響他是一瓶好香水。
不仔細聞的話會覺得他就是一款乾淨清透的柑橘香，帶有一點濕潤的感覺，聞起來滿像JO MALONE的羅勒與橙花純露。隨著時間經過會開始散發出隱晦的苦味還有沉穩的木質味，但這種苦味和木質味藏得很好，不會讓香味顯得老氣，反而是一種不食人間煙火的優雅氣質。
